Across Europe and North America, wildfires have raged. Now, as summer ends, another climate threat is emerging: destructive flash floods, including devastating flooding in Nepal, possibly triggered by a collapsing glacier and linked to our changing climate.
In the UK we largely rely on artificial fertilisers made from fossil fuels. The Government has singularly failed to develop a strategy for providing an alternative source for industrial manufactured imported fertilisers.
